Tereza Cíglerová is a conservator of photographs and paper with extensive experience at the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences (since 2009). She studied the conservation of paper, bookbinding, and documents at the University of Pardubice, and art history at Charles University. She deepened her practical skills during an internship at the Norwegian national museum of photography (Preus Museum) as well as through a series of specialized workshops focused on the identification, conservation, and care of photographic materials. In her practice, she connects the art-historical context with material knowledge and participates in the creation of professional methodologies. She regularly collaborates on research projects aimed at the preservation of cultural heritage.
