Martina Trojanová graduated in art history from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University (PhD, 2021). In 2011, she completed a study stay at the University of Southern Denmark, where she focused on the study of Byzantine decorative arts, primarily reliquary crosses. She completed her studies with a doctoral dissertation dedicated to the cross known as Queen Dagmar’s Cross.
From 2020 to 2025, she worked at the Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs, where she headed the Publications Department and the Library. Since 2026, she has been working as a curator of the historical photography collection at IAH CAS.
