On 16–17 September 2023, the Institute of Art History of the CAS will organise an international musicological conference Entità naturali e sovranaturali nell’opera italiana within the framework of the AV21 Strategy programme and under the patronage of the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague, in cooperation with the Centre of Baroque Culture in Český Krumlov, the Hof-Musici ensemble and the Mozart Community in the Czech Republic. The conference will take place in the Study Centre of the Castle in Český Krumlov as part of the local Festival of Baroque Arts and on the occasion of the modern world premiere of Antonio Cesti’s opera Nettuno e Flora festeggianti.
